Children, because of their small stature and inability to detect and avoid dangers, are especially vulnerable to suffering serious injuries or death because of dangerous products. Some products which have been the subject of product liability litigation include:
Child safety seats
Cribs, strollers, and playpens - risks of collapse and entrapment
Children's sleepwear - concerns over flammability
Medications
Toys - especially those containing magnets, lead paint, loose or small parts, balls, or other choking hazards
Bunk beds - including falling from bed, collapse of the bed, and entrapment between the bed and the wall, mattress, and/or safety rail
